Demian Arriaga has just come off one of the coolest gigs ever playing the New Year’s Eve show with Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton, so we are going to talk a lot about that today, but we will also hear about his start in music, his transition from being a drumset player to also being a hand percussionist and how that opened a whole other world of gigs for him, and we’ll talk about how he made his way into the world of pop music with major gigs with acts such as the Jonas brothers, Iggy Azalea, Carly Rae Jepsen, and of course popstar/rockstar Miley Cyrus.
